Poet, gardener, mother, and world traveler, Carol brings a thoughtful, nurturing presence to every home she designs. Inspired by Shakespeare and the natural rhythms of life, she believes that comfort is more than a feeling — it’s something you create through beauty, warmth, and connection.
Guests in Long Beach often enjoy fresh veggies from her garden, homemade meals, and cultural touches that reflect her love of language (she speaks bits of German, French, Spanish, and Japanese!). Her daughter runs a local juice shop - Bring Me Juice.com - with deliveries available to the Long Beach property.

The two Omaha homes were lovingly transformed from uninhabitable structures into beautiful guest-ready residences by Carol and her adult children. Her son, a skilled contractor and master painter, led all construction and restoration work. Her daughter, an artist with a dual degree in Art Practice and Anthropology from UC Berkeley, used her creative eye to develop the color palette and overall design aesthetic. Their collaboration brought these historic properties back to life with care, vision, and dedication.
