Our stay at Carol’s tiny house was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything felt cozy, peaceful, and welcoming. The space was beautifully set up— super clean, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor area was just perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings—it felt like a little slice of paradise. And we have to mention the dogs! They were the sweetest and most well-behaved pups, and they added so much joy to our time there. Carol was a wonderful host—kind, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We left feeling refreshed and so grateful for the experience.We’d come back in a heartbeat—highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway!

We stayed at Carol's after our cruise. Her place was about 15 minutes from the cruise terminal, but easy to get to and low traffic. She is located in a resident area. We will definitely choose her place again. Carol's hospitality is amazing!! She's so kind and welcoming!! The unit was clean and comfy! If you are looking for luxury you won't find it here, but if you are looking for a clean at home feel with great customer service, accommodating, flexibility with a smile this is for you!! Her pool and hot tub were clean. We only used the hot tub because it was too cool for the pool.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The garden was very lovely and the back yard was nice to just lounge in. We would definitely recommend this spot for any prospective travelers.

Great place, beautiful and impressive garden and foliage everywhere, Carol offered some produce she grew herself to me, that was very generous. She took the time to explain what needed to be explained, that was helpful. The unit is compact, very clean, comfortable/cozy, it looks like the pictures, the kitchen area is well stocked and the neighborhood is quiet, and it seems safe. Parking in her driveway was easy. I did not use the pool, hot tub or pool area, but they look great, pool was sparkling clean. Recommended!

Carol’s Airbnb was a perfect little oasis! She offered for us to help ourselves to some of the vegetables and herbs in the gardens and we also really enjoyed getting to love on the dogs.

This is an amazing find! Carol was very friendly and helpful. She has a beautiful garden surrounding the house and offered vegetables from it. She kept the hot tub heated as well. Will stay again on our next visit.

Carol was so friendly, loved her garden and backyard, the house was super nice, tidy and beautiful, bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve we’ve slept on. Only thing is we wish we had a little more privacy but other then that carol was an amazing host felt safe the whole entire stay.

I wish I could give a higher rating than 5 stars! Wonderful location, about 20 minutes away from Disneyland if that’s your plan :) Tiny home was stocked with all your essentials and up to date appliances. The pool was clean and warm. Carol went above and beyond for us and our 2 children. She provided a crib for our infant, and fresh juice and eggs in the morning. We’ve never had a more passionate host that truly cares about you and the quality of your time. Carol, thank you so much and we cannot wait to visit again ❤️

Carol’s place was everything as described. Carol is a very sweet host and made it super easy for us to come in and out with no hassle. The place was clean and the perfect size for us to relax after we got back, not once did we feel cramped or uncomfortable. Carol's hospitality is unmatched! We felt right at home with Carol, you can really feel the love in the space. Super rare host, let alone the space, which was immaculate! The dogs were just as loving, they made you feel like family! This location is truly an escape! You forget you're in Long Beach until you come out to the street which. Carol was super helpful, explained how everything works in the unit as well as the outside amenities. The space is clean and very well stocked! The pool and hot tub were ready to go and such a nice way to end the evening. Carols garden is also a delight! Fresh produce growing all aound you, and Carol was so sweet to give us a dragon fruit (delicious!) and Kumquat marmalade (also delicious!) Best stay ever! Will certainly visit Carol again!

Upon arriving, Carol was sweet, attentive, friendly, and extremely helpful. She greeted us at the gate and gave us a quick tour of her beautiful farm home. Her dogs, Ivy and Billy, also greeted us with excitement. Carol made sure we knew where everything was and how it all worked. She even let us help ourselves by allowing us to pluck/eat/enjoy her vegetables and fruits! My guest and I ended up using her basil and kale in our pasta (that we cooked in the tiny home kitchen) and also tried some of her dragon fruit and green apples. Oh! We also included some green apple in the salad! The pool and hot tub were relaxing experiences! Overall, we had a nice little staycation at her farm house! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant getaway!

I had a lovely stay here! The place offers a perfect mix of comfort and privacy. Carol has done a beautiful job with her garden. The garden is absolutely lovely — peaceful, well-kept, and a great spot to relax with a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. To top it off, you’re greeted by two sweet and friendly dogs who instantly make you feel at home. They were a delightful part of the experience!

Carol, was an amazing host! She has a beautiful garden, flowers, fruit trees, cactuses, hot tub and a pool. She allowed us to use her washer and dryer. It’s cute and cozy little place. She is the sweetest person. She has two big pit bulls that will love you and give you lucky kisses. They were also so happy to see us. I highly recommend this place to stay. I LOVED my stay here! My friend and I had the best experience. Carol was such a kind host and we loved her dogs! Nothing beats a fun getaway from home, but for the host to also have the sweetest dogs to love on while you miss your fur babies? Such a win. I will definitely be coming back. The pool was so nice and fun to swim in. The hot tub was so warm too! Bed was incredibly comfy and the room itself was perfect. Just a pleasant experience and I feel like I got a local taste of Long Beach because of Carol and her wonderful dogs!

This was one of my most pleasant and unique airbnb experiences. Carol is such a wonderful host and provides excellent accommodations. The hospitality she provides is perfect but also let's you have your own privacy. She responds quickly to any messages and has a very cool place near the center of all of the cool Los Angeles attractions. Her dogs were so wonderful. Her gardens were beautiful. The pool and hot tub were very cleaned and are cleaned regularly. If this place is available then book it!

Another great stay at Carol's backyard sanctuary. Very peaceful space. unit is spotless and there's always a new upgrade of some sort. She is on top of everything. Very communicative and friendly. We love the fresh produce from her garden that she's always eager to share. My favorite amenity is the 2 beautiful pups. Billy and Ivy are the sweetest and we miss them already. We can't wait to plan a return trip.

We rented Carol's space for a little staycation near home. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool which was big enough and a nice depth to get some swimming done. The garden is lovely and lush, plenty of space to relax outdoors. The inside of the place was small but well organized and just right for two people or a couple and a kid or one adult and two kids. Carol is a responsive, kind, and accommodating host.

Carol was a perfect host. Super sweet lady who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Her pups are super sweet and came to visit me by the pool. Very interesting garden with plants I had never seen before. Carol explained everything about the garden and certain that only bloom at night. That was really cool. Pool and hut tub were great and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and AC works great. Highly recommend this place for a very peaceful stay and easy access to freeway to venture out in the area. 5 of 5 for sure!!

Carol is such a sweet woman. Her backyard included this amazing garden that had so many great veggies. First thing we seen walking to the home were so many pretty butterflies! The best part of my stay was the beautiful pool because it was heated and clean! My kids loved it. What topped the entire experience were free veggies from her garden which tastes absolutely amazing!

I lovedd carol and carols place , the pool was amazing !!! 10/10 by itself, i did mess up a few times and carol was understanding , the bed was sooo comfy, it has everything you would need for a calm /relaxed trip , the pool can be heated which was nice since it was cooler weather our trip , carol offered to take us to walmart if we needed it & omg dont get me started on the puppies they are so stinking cute! and u only see them if u want to! we are puppy lovers so we didnt mind one bit we loved waking up and seeing the puppies we really did enjoy our stay and would recommend to anyone 10/10 (also there is a hot tub which is also nice as well)

We are a family with a 9-year-old daughter. Carol’s home was truly comfortable. The small farm was perfect for our child to explore and connect with nature. The swimming pool and the small hot spring with warm water were absolutely wonderful. Because our daughter is afraid of dogs, Billie the dog was kept separated from us, but my husband enjoyed playing with him from time to time. Billie is a very sweet dog. Carol’s place is also conveniently located near Disneyland — it took us only about 20 minutes by car. Having access to the washer and dryer was also incredibly convenient. Carol is very kind and thoughtful. We would love to come back again if we have the chance.

My partner and I had a mini staycation here for his birthday and we loved it! Carol is the kindest host I’ve encountered on this app. She was super attentive and helpful when we had questions. Her home garden is a beautiful sight when lounging outside or in the hot tub. She made us homemade kumquat jam with Greek yogurt and it was delicious! Such a nice little get away. It’s a cute little back house with a pool a jacuzzi, it’s not the whole house but if it’s great for 1-3 ppl to stay. Carol is very sweet as well and has fresh produce to enjoy (if in season).

Lovely two-night stay at this urban oasis. We bonded over our love of organic produce. Carol was able to enter the local contest for urban farms I told her about and walked away with Best of Show! The ADU is small, but spotless and well designed with everything in its place. Efficient AC and heater were put to use during this erratic change of the seasons. Though I didn't do any cooking other than using the microwave and refrigerator, the Pullman kitchen layout is quite complete with plenty of dinnerware. No time to use the pool or hot tub, unfortunately. I went home with loads of organic greens, fennel, heirloom butternut squash, loquats, tomatoes, and kumquats. I have some jamming to do! And the green juice from her daughter's shop was delicious and restorative.

I would stay at Carol's place again. It was a little ADU in the back yard that was quiet and felt safe. There were a few trees and a garden. I used the hot tub which was nice. She had everything I could have wanted inside. Extra blankets and heater/ air conditioner. I enjoyed relaxing here after a long day at the convention.

This place was very nice and had everything you would have at home ie. TV, fridge, dish ware, towels, silverware, toiletries, coffee & tea, extra bedding. The things I really enjoyed about my stay was the shower was nice and hot & the A/C-Heater was very responsive (Celsius). My stay was in January an so I was very happy I could find a place that had a hot tub. I’m 173cm (5ft 8in) an I was able to sit inside the hot tub with my legs stretched all out. There was also a pool however I only was interested in warmth. Also there are very kinda dogs on the property. I was asked if I was okay with them being out and able to come to the area I would be in or if I preferred them away from me ( I said I was fine with them around ). I was able to park on the property in the driveway which was very convenient and safe.

This was such a magnificent stay! Was perfect for the night I needed off of my hectic work schedule. Carol was very attentive and accommodating to our needs. We got to greet and pet her sweet, wonderful dogs! The home has everything you need and more! Certainly a hidden gem! I'm looking forward to staying here again. Thank you Carol for such a great stay! The place was peaceful and the backyard was massive, filled with trees, succulents, cacti, and vegetable gardens—a perfect spot to relax. The hot tub was a treat after a long day of driving and walking. Her two dogs: Billy and Ivy, were super friendly as well!

Carol was responsive, friendly and the space was lovely. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful garden, we even saw a hummingbird up close our first night! Billy and Ivy were also super cute and made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful farmhouse! Not only is there a heated pool and a jacuzzi, but the garden was absolutely gorgeous. The provided bed is as comfortable as you would want with nice pillows and blankets to match. Theme parks are nearby with nice restaurants just around the corner. Hopefully, we will be back soon.

Carol was fantastic to work with. Very responsive and helpful, warm and welcoming. The garden was especially beautiful and peaceful. Carol generously shared cuttings from her garden for me to take home and plant in my garden, now growing nicely in my small greenhouse. Literally thee best airbnb I’ve been to! Carol was so kind and attentive with any questions we had. The pool and jacuzzi were super clean, the room was also clean. She also had extra towels available for us and made the garden available to us if we wanted to make a salad. The internet was strong and the firestick for the tv worked great. Stove and fridge also worked great. I loved loves loved the dogs! Very well trained, super cute and cuddly, and made me feel protected and safe while staying there! Overall, my favorite airbnb, definitely going back!

She has two dogs on the property Billy and ivy and they are both incredibly friendly and fun to have around. Carol was super friendly and helpful during my very short stay. The place is essentially a small studio, with the basic things you need (bathroom, clothing storage, comfy bed, and kitchen running the length of the wall opposite the bed). It’s filled with tons of natural light and was peaceful and delightfully quiet overnight on a Saturday. Although my stay was too short to make use of it, the outside space is the obvious gem of the stay — vegetable garden, some fun unusual fruits, and a majestic giant cactus overlooking the pristine pool. Really lovely. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and unpretentious — a regular family neighborhood. Can’t speak to walkability (again, time), but the dedicated parking space would make driving anywhere an easy option. Thanks, Carol!

Carol’s tiny home was perfect for what we needed. The pool was AMAZING. Her dogs (especially Billy) were a cherry on top for the trip. They do roam freely as stated by other reviews but that was a perk for us! We loved them. The washer was out of order during our stay and we were only in town for 2 days so we packed very light. Carol was amazing and quick about fixing the situation and made sure our laundry got cleaned, super quick too. I really really appreciated that since we didn’t have extra time to run to a laundry mat. On our last day she brewed some amazing coffee and offered us some. Super kind. The bed was super comfortable, we slept great. Overall a great place to stay. Would definitely return.

I loved my stay! The unit is peaceful and the bed is very comfortable. A/C was helpful on a hot day. I slept better than I have in a long time. Carol was so lovely. And so were her sweet dogs. Her garden is amazing! I highly recommend this place.

Pain Reflection Having pain for the better part of 3 years has been a life lesson. I have learned that this constant physical pain and in so many ways worse pain than my own. It has taught me about compassion from a vantage point that I could have otherwise not know. Furthermore, it has taught me that people are abundantly compassionate and this has filled my heart in a way that otherwise would have not been. My wife and I had a wonderful time at this Long Beach oasis. Check in was easy, the amenities were plentiful, and the ambiance is so relaxing you will forget you are in the city and actually just a stones throw a way from great coffee shops, kayaking, and a vibrant nightlife. The pool, AC, and bed are excellent. Oh and Carol is such a sweet spirit, after asking about her garden, my wife and I were able to get to know her and she is fantastic! On the other hand if you just want to be left alone she is also very mindful of privacy. Do yourself a favor and book this room.

Wow, we had a great stay at this tiny house in Long Beach. Carol was a great hostess! She was friendly and helped me schedule an extra day at her place, no problem. The room was quiet and cozy, and the working garden and backyard are an exceptional find, but for anyone looking to find a private heated pool to enjoy, this is the place! Lots of patio space, chairs, tables with umbrellas and the water was heated to 87* each day of our stay! We're coming back here again on our next visit in town because Carol's place is a gem!

This place is a true gem. Amazing, authentic and peaceful back yard. My 3 year old was so happy here. Carol showed him how to cut the peas off and eat them and he was obsessed. He liked to feed the peas to Carol’s 2 amazing dogs. Carol was so kind to ask us how we felt about the dogs (should she put them in, or do we want to meet them). We love dogs so much so we were thrilled to hang out with Billy and Ivy (the sweetest dogs ever). The hot tub was so nice and the pool nice and refreshing (it was not a super hot day). We had our own private garden oasis and two of the loveliest dogs to hang out with. Highly recommend. We are already looking for an excuse to go back.

Carol is the best hostess you will find on Airbnb. She offered fresh mint for us to make tea, homemade jam, and offered us the opportunity to have fresh off the vine snap peas. Her spot is a little oasis in the area, and the pool and hot tub and tiny house are as pictured. The space is immaculate. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency and couldn’t stay as long as we had hoped. Carol really is a gem.

I was traveling for a pretty intense physical weekend, and it was private, quiet, and relaxing to spend time in the guest house and beautiful back yard. Everything was as described, and Carol was very responsive, friendly, but also respectful of space and privacy. Highly recommended for anybody who wants a quiet place to stay in Long Beach.

Our stay at Carol’s was absolutely amazing! She was super attentive and even picked some super yummy veggies for us to cook inside. We especially loved spending time outside by the pool with her precious Billy and Ivy who are the sweetest dogs and loads of fun. Peaceful and beautiful nature to enjoy day and night and very respectful neighbors. Although in the back we had a ton of privacy and always felt comfortable. The jacuzzi was especially nice on chill nights. Inside of our home away from home was plenty of room, plenty of towels for both bathroom and pool, Extra sheets, blankets and great kitchenware. The stove top was easy to function and use and the kitchen is stocked with amenities like seasonings, condiments, ice, coffee, etc. will definitely be back!

There were a few hiccups with our stay, but Carol is awesome and made our one-night stay very nice.

We loved staying at Carol's place! It was so nice having a private pool and hot tub. While hanging out at the pool we were able to go pick delicious kumquats from the garden. Carol was so generous and brought us fresh berries from the farmers market and made us a fresh kale salad from her garden. Carol provided us with driveway parking so we didn't have to worry about finding off street parking. Having Billie and Ivy there, Carol's dogs, was a huge bonus for our family! We love dogs and it was great to have them around. Would definitely stay here again.

Carol’s place is perfect for a small gateway. It’s a studio that has all the amenities one would need for such a trip. We thought it was perfect for the price! I would recommend it! Carol was also so attentive to our stay. She made sure everything went to plan and she is also flexible with accommodations (check-in time and such). Carol’s place worked well as our home base during a 5-day visit to the area. We were able to easily get to Universal Studios, Santa Monica, San Diego, and Huntington Beach. We enjoyed the hot tub and the space was suitable for our family of 3.

Carol was a lovely host. The home was definitely tiny but had all that we needed and was very clean and comfortable. It was too cold out to heat the pool, but the hot tub made up for it. I stayed there with my son and was comforted with how responsive Carol was. Overall, it was a great stay.

Carol was absolutely amazing! She was very flexible with the check-in time. We were running really late due to our car rental situation and she was very patient about it and very helpful. She even gave us fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for Christmas! She was very helpful and was there when we checked in to show us around the Airbnb and anything that we would need to know about the place! She was also very accommodating about the dogs, if you don’t feel comfortable around them, she is very understanding about it. The area was really nice too and it was close to a lot of of the downtown areas and there is a lot of restaurants and shops close by as well. Carol was the best! Definitely will be staying here again whenever we come back to LA!

Carol’s Airbnb gave me what I like the most with Airbnb at its origin. We were welcomed by Carol and got to meet and discuss with Carol throughout the stay. This is what makes this Airbnb a truly great one. We have been able to pick vegetables from the garden and was welcome to use the pool. I can’t recommend enough!

Carol was by far the best host I’ve had, communication was superb. She made sure we had everything we needed and more, the space was so clean and gave instructions and guidance when we initially showed up 10/10 def recommend!

Carol was super responsive at every step of the way, allowing us to plan our stay really well, and was very welcoming and helpful. Her dogs are adorable and very friendly, welcoming us at the gate as we arrived each day. The place was easy to get to, and was quiet. There's parking for one car, but there may be a way to squeeze in a second car behind the first if you have one -- talk to Carol. The place was a little snug for three people with lots of stuff, but it worked out just fine and was a great deal. We were swimming all day in another pool, so we didn't swim in Carol's pool or lounge in the hot tub, but the pool was spotless and looked very inviting.

I booked with Carol last minute and the whole process from booking up until check-in was smooth. Carol was always helpful and it was very easy to communicate with her. She was always available. The room was super clean and pretty. It has modern finishes and the bed was comfy. The patio has a great pool and hot-tub. We arrived late at night and Carol allowed us to use them, however, if you do the same, please be mindful of neighbors that are next door. This is a very intimate, quite, private room and I highly recommend to book here if this is what you're looking for. Carol was super nice and offered us some of her pesto sauce. At the time of check out, I complemented her garden and she offered a glass of green detox juice, which was super tasty. I love carol. First and foremost, Carol was very lovely & welcoming, especially surprisingly funny, you couldn't ask for a better host. Carol made us some home made pesto which was divine, and her daughter who owns a juice store made us fresh juice, it was definitely the best I've ever had. Upon arrival Carol gave us a tour of the beautiful garden, pool area, and airbnb itself. Everything was very clean, accommodating, and all around cozy. We enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to come back.

A quiet Oasis in a busy city. We just stayed a week with Carol and her pups. The property is what it appears in the photos. Imagine coming “home” after a day of sightseeing in the city and being greeted by bliss. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and the goofiest and sweetest big boy (Billy the lovable doggy) you’ll ever meet, his sister Ivy is a sweetheart too. We had jammed packed days of traveling or meeting friends but we always looked forward to coming “home”. The only thing I would suggest, is that if you are renting a car, a compact car might work better in the neighborhood since the streets are narrow. We got “upgraded” to a Chrysler Sedan and it was a bit difficult navigate, yet not impossible! Have fun. Relax. And give Billy a kiss on they big nose for us.

Carol was a joy to meet. I felt right at home amongst all of her plants. Her yard was a nice a relaxing space, while the indoor space was super clean & comfortable. Also, I fell in love with her two dogs immediately. I definitely would return.

Great location with a parking space. Was a hiccup with the lock upon arrival that was quickly taken care of by Carol who is very friendly. This is not self check-in as she will be there to guide you through the process upon you arriving and you will also be seeing her as the day{s} progresses. So if you are looking for 100% self check in, no host interaction stay this does not check those boxes. Her dogs are friendly and the back yard is great with a pool that was a good temp for swimming in later september without needing to be heated. Overall a great stay if you don't mind some host interaction and unlocking/relocking a gate every time you leave and come back.

If I could rate over 5 stars I would! I felt very safe and sound in the place and it is exactly as described and shown in pictures. The pool was great and the surrounding area was also great. Carol was very kind to me and always made sure everything was good! The puppies that also live here are very sweet, always greeting you and will become your best fur friends throughout your stay. Bed was comfortable and plenty of linens and towels are provided. Kitchen was useful, big fridge and even a stove top! Will definitely stay here again my next trip.

Carol was very responsive. I asked to have a little bit of people over for a couple hours to bbq and she was a great host. Loved her dogs Billy and Ivy. The place is a tiny home but it is awesome. Feels like everything is new. Awesome fixtures, good water flow, good bed, a/c was good. Bbq was awesome.

We booked for nine nights but only stayed for three nights due to a hurricane warning. Carol was just great all along. Even when I cancelled she was understanding and so helpful. It’s an absolute pleasure to talk to her. I stayed with my two girls, aged 12 and 15. It does get a bit crowded in the bathroom😉, but the accommodation is very cozy and so clean!! The pool ist fantastic. We’ve had smaller ones at some of the motels we stayed at. There is even a hot tub and everything for the guests seems to have been picked very carefully, inside the house and in the garden. The Airconditioning is very powerful, we only used it for half an hour to cool down the room in the evening and then you could just leave the windows open over night (they are all equipped with fly screens). On the whole the property seems very safe and we really felt at home. You don’t even need to lock the door (but you can), because you are secured by a locked gate and Carol’s dogs. 😄

This was our first trip to California. We picked Carols AirBNB simply for the fact it had a pool and hot tub. Carols property is very nicely renovated and fits two perfectly. She has two friendly beautiful dogs who will hang out with you in the back yard if you let them. Carol was super responsive, helpful and kind. She made us a kale salad from the garden and it was very yummy. Carol was very accommodating to our needs and helped us out when needed. The gate was a little frustrating at times as I couldn’t remember the code to get it in and out and the chain needs to be lock at all times. 10/10 would reconned to a friend and when we come back to LA, we are gonna stay with her if the place is available.

Carol was a great host! This was the perfect place for my husband and our two teenage boys to stay while visiting from out-of-state, close to extended family in Lakewood. They loved the pool, hot tub, garden, and grill. The tiny home was cozy and comfortable. They have great memories of the pool, of Carol's dogs, visiting with Carol, and loved the fresh pesto dip and organic veggies she provided. We travel from VA to Long Beach, CA with our son every 10-12 weeks for his medical treatments. This was my first time traveling without my husband or another adult and Carol’s Air B & B was perfect for us. She is so nice and helpful, we felt safe and right at home. Her dogs are also super sweet and the pool and hot tub were a great bonus! She also keeps the space open in the driveway for you to park so you don’t have to worry about street parking. We will definitely stay here again!

Picture the kids hanging out in the pool, popping out to grab a pancake for breakfast and eating it on the outdoor table where dripping kids are not problem, and then hopping back in the pool for more swimming. It was a very fun and relaxing family time. The room was very neat and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the garden surroundings were fun to walk around. Carol was also very helpful with suggestions about local attractions.

We felt at home, close to everything! The pool is a real big pool and beautiful is well heated! The jacuzzi is also appreciable, she even lent us her bikes to go for a walk, great communication, easy to park (which is not easy in LA), Carol is an exceptional host, we were able to exchange very easily with her, her two dogs are loves! Carol's place is an oasis complete with it's own garden where you're free to taste the vegetables she has been growing in her garden. Try the kumquats! There is also the hot tub and heated pool if you'd like, when you've finished the day's activities. The place is comfortable with all the necessities. stovetop,microwave, fridge, etc. I would say the best place about this location is Carol. She's very attentive, hospitable and just overall a really good and interesting person to talk to. After speaking to her for 5 minutes, I felt like I've known her for 5 years. Carol’s guest house was cozy and the salads were fresh, plentiful, and great. It’s in a residential neighborhood not too far from DTLA and the main part of Long Beach. The room was nicely cleaned; I am picky about beds and pillows and found them very comfortable. We were there in the winter and the heating worked well. It’s not a large or luxurious space, but it’s a great value and has everything you need besides indoor desk space. Stuff to be aware of: the pool is large and heat may not be turned on all the time, so if you want it warm when you arrive, make sure to inform in advance. The shower is very small so if you have significant mobility issues you will find it difficult. She has two pit bulls (one is an older, quiet female); though I am a little wary of large strange dogs, they clearly meet lots of new people and are friendly. She keeps them in her house without being asked to, but they get out sometimes and you will probably encounter them in an enclosed area at some point.

When we first stumbled upon this flat on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. I was on business for 2 weeks, so getting to stay at a clean, relaxing home with visits from her 2 doggos for a few of those days was great. Loved getting to know her and the property, and would definitely stay again.

Carol welcomed me immediately and even invited me to enjoy dinner with her family on the first evening- which was full of yummy veggies from her organic urban garden. Amazing stay in Carol’s house for 4 nights. Very cozy and peaceful with a beatiful garden and pool which could be heated so very good to swim all day. Beautiful stay

This was our first time 8n Long Beach. First off Carol is amazing! We stayed one night; not only did Carol let us check in early she also made a fresh salad with all the fixings from her garden; she went above and beyond! The hot tube was perfect; Carol knew we had dinner plans and she told us the hot tub will be ready upon our return: from dinner,and it was ready! Her garden is. beautiful; the kumquats were delicious also. The room was clean, the bed was soft and the shower was perfect. We highly recommend this listing. We would stay again. Thank you Carol!

I've never done air bnb before on my own, and this was a great first experience. Carol was so warm and caring. Not only did she share her home with me for a week but she also looked out for me in going above and beyond what a host is required to do. On my first night, she shared some of her delicious home made soup with ingredients fresh from her garden. so comfortable would definitely stay there again

Carol is a wonderful host. I was able to use her parking space my entire stay. Her garden oasis where the bungalow is located is beautiful with the pool and her many, many flowers and plants - lots of cactus, succulents and my favorite plumeria. She gave me some good recommendations for restaurants and things to do. I was there for Thanksgiving and she gave us some blueberry cobbler to have with our dinner. We used the gas grill and grilled a tomahawk steak! Carol’s dogs Billy and Ivy have such personality. I enjoyed knowing the dogs were there - I didn’t see them all the time, but knowing they were there was nice as I missed my own pets. The neighborhood like most I’ve visited in Long Beach have tight streets and not a lot of extra parking and as I previously stated having an assured parking space was awesome. Everything in the bungalow was very clean and the bed and pillows were super comfortable! I slept well every night! I would highly recommend staying at Carol’s air bnb.

My sister and I stayed at the house for the last few nights before she flew out from Long Beach airport. Carol is very accommodating and replied quickly to our messages. Her yard is good sized with a variety of tree's, veggies/fruits, and interesting cactus and flowers. We really wanted to take a day or two of lounging around the pool, getting a southern California tan for my sister to bring home to Indiana since she's never been to CA and BBQ. The weather was too chilly and it rained haha 😁 We did get a short dip in and grilled a delicious dinner one night on the gas grill. Carol provided propane and briquettes for the other Weber grill as well. Nice pool and outside seating with pretty solar lights. Love her security guard Billy. He's a stud! Very alert protective, and strong. He would even walk us from the seating to the door of our studio. Felt completely safe in his presence. Billy is a very intelligent human like Pitbull 😁 Warm and Cozy studio that is good for two, but I wouldn't have more for an extended amount of time. Would stay again for sure. Carol and Crew are the best! P S. Spires restaurant is very close by and serve good meals for good deals!

Her garden is so full of life, you're sitting next to a pool, and you have a small, clean, and organized piece of privacy to enjoy it all from. The place is clearly about Peace.

Tidy, little place! Beautiful garden! I went with my fiancé and his son, and we felt quite safe and comfortable! Driving distance from all of the theme parks. Carol, Ivy, and Billy kept a close watch for us while we were gone!

Carol was very attentive and the stay was pleasant!

The place was very comfortable, safe, and clean. She was always available to help with anything. she also has the most 2 sweetest dogs. We will for sure book again.

My stay with carol was amazing she is the best host and her two dogs are lovely I'm going to miss them I wish I could stayed longer 10/10 👍👌

A hidden gem.

This is a place with warmth as if you were visiting a grandmother's house. The room was smaller than I thought, but it was enough for two people to stay. Mrs.Carol was so nice, she kept checking to see if we needed anything In particular, the vegetables harvested directly from the garden were so fresh and I was so grateful for the gifts from Carol. It was nice to have a good rest during my busy life

Carol is a fantastic host. We felt very comfortable at all times and enjoyed her authentic, loving manner. She offered us fresh vegetables from her garden every day, which we could prepare and enjoy at the beautiful pool in the garden. The accommodation is very clean and almost new. We would stay here again anytime.

Stating with Carol and the pups was excellent. You can tell she puts a lot of love and care into her space! The neighborhood was SAFE and had many food options around! I would most definitely stay again for sure! It wasn't completely private but we enjoyed chatting with Ms. Carol. Thank you ma'am for your hospitality!

Carol is an absolute sweetheart of a human being and I wished my stay(and our infrequent talks haha) was longer. The Airbnb was exceptionally clean and cozy along with having everything that’s needed for an extended stay. Love her pups as well😃! Highly recommend to anyone visiting LA county.

We arrived to the place with a locked front gate, she gave us the passcode and we were able to enter with no problem. Carol was very nice and welcoming to us and she offered any help whenever she would see us. Carol has two lovely dogs and they were very sweet to us as well. Thank you for having us, I'd book again in the future!

Carol is an amazing host who was a pleasure to be around. We chatted quite a bit when hanging out in the pool and garden. They are very accommodating and considerate, and I'm glad we were able to meet their two endlessly loving dogs Billy and Ivy. We were offered fruit and vegetables from the garden, and fresh towels for the pool. Overall a great place to stay which I recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This was a great place! It was very clean, cozy and personal. It was also close to a lot of places to eat, like walking distance and like less than 20 minutes from the beach or queen mary or any known Long Beach spot you’d wanna visit! And Carol was one of the best! She’s so nice, cool to talk to, and overall very hospitable! You would get to see her and her dogs and they’re also friendly and adorable. She has a garden of different veggies and she let us have some of her homegrown vegetables to take home and the heated pool was super fun! I would definitely go to her again if I was visiting the area!

Carol's place is a quiet little island where you will like coming back after days of excursions in the LA area. You can relax in the pool and enjoy the silence. The room is seperated from the house and is perfect for couples or - like in my case - when you travel alone with one or two children. It is fully equipped with a kitchen and everything you need. Carol is very friendly, helpful and has yummy vegetables in her garden! She keeps her dogs in the house when you are there. There is a metro stop two miles away where you can leave your car for free and get to downtown LA to avoid the heavy traffic. So overall, I can really recommend this place!

This location ticked All the boxes. Extremely clean, welcoming, comfortable, and accommodating We had a personal parking spot, Carol made sure we had everything we needed including a friendly conversation by the pool. The room was very private and could have had 3 comfortably!

This is a great place for nature lovers! I enjoyed watching butterflies and birds wiz around the garden as I swam in the pool. Carol is generous and kind, she offered me fresh vegetables from her garden which I was able to make myself a fantastic salad with. Carol is a special person and she’s created a beautiful oasis, you are lucky if you get the opportunity to meet her and stay here.

This place was beautiful - a studio with everything you’ll need. We didn’t have the pleasure of swimming in the pool but it looked great. I love the garden and it really added to the beautiful cozy studio. We are grateful to Carol and her hospitality - warmly welcomed with fresh picked veggies from her garden. She was accessible and we had clear communication throughout the stay. I would recommend this spot for couples traveling!
