I’m a proud mother of two wonderful grown children, and life has blessed me with a beautiful blend of passions that I love to share through the spaces I create. I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of language—especially the timeless words of Shakespeare and the magic of poetry. There’s something about literature that brings a touch of depth and reflection to everyday life, and I try to infuse that same feeling of comfort and thoughtfulness into the experience I offer my guests. Outside of the written word, one of my greatest joys is spending time in my garden, growing my own vegetables. There's something incredibly grounding about nurturing the earth and turning homegrown produce into gourmet meals. Cooking is both a creative outlet and a labor of love for me—every dish tells a story, and I take pride in preparing fresh, seasonal meals that reflect my passion for wholesome, flavorful food. Language and culture have always fascinated me. While English is my primary language, I’ve enjoyed exploring bits of German, French, Spanish, and Japanese over the years. While I’m not fluent, I love exchanging even the smallest phrases and learning from the people I meet. And speaking of passion—my daughter is the proud owner of a vibrant juice shop called Bring Me Juice. If you're staying with us, you're in for a treat: you can order fresh, nutritious juices directly from her shop and have them delivered right to your kitchen here! This place was absolutely perfect! The pool is gorgeous, the fruit and veggies available were delicious, the plants were breathtaking. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Carol was an amazing host, along with the dogs Billy and ivy :) we felt right at home and would love to stay again!
Another great stay at Carol's backyard sanctuary. Very peaceful space. unit is spotless and there's always a new upgrade of some sort. She is on top of everything. Very communicative and friendly. We love the fresh produce from her garden that she's always eager to share. My favorite amenity is the 2 beautiful pups. Billy and Ivy are the sweetest and we miss them already. We can't wait to plan a return trip.
Carol’s place was very clean and cozy I truly recommend it especially if you need a big and comfortable place to stay.
Carol was a perfect host. Super sweet lady who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Her pups are super sweet and came to visit me by the pool. Very interesting garden with plants I had never seen before. Carol explained everything about the garden and certain that only bloom at night. That was really cool. Pool and hut tub were great and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and AC works great. Highly recommend this place for a very peaceful stay and easy access to freeway to venture out in the area. 5 of 5 for sure!!
We rented Carol's space for a little staycation near home. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool which was big enough and a nice depth to get some swimming done. The garden is lovely and lush, plenty of space to relax outdoors. The inside of the place was small but well organized and just right for two people or a couple and a kid or one adult and two kids. Carol is a responsive, kind, and accommodating host.
Beautiful place, it’s truly worth it if you planing on staying there, always cleans and it has big and comfortable bedrooms.
